Driving more leads for Harwoods with joint PPC and SEO strategy

With a successful history spanning over 90 years, Harwoods is the leading automotive retailer group in the South of England. As a reputable brand in their sector, they approached WMG to help them increase their organic ranking and drive more leads across all their channels, while reducing their overall CPA.

What did we do?

Starting with an extensive PPC audit, we uncovered where the issues were and highlighted areas for improvement. Maximising conversion opportunities, we conducted A/B testing using different ad copy, allowing for more insight to be gained and further ad optimisation to be made. Paying close attention to keeping the cost-per-acquisition (CPA) as low as possible, we set up campaigns for promotions that were due to go live, increasing the number of leads that were generated.

To support onsite optimisation and improve organic rankings, we carried out full technical audits as well as forensic link analysis. Our findings allowed us to make suggestions as to how Harwoods’ website could be optimised, and we worked closely with their development team so the recommended updates could be actioned. We also supported with link building and creating the meta data, which helped to improve organic rankings.
