WMG complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks in aid of Pancreatic Cancer UK

With help from our connected agencies Ingenuity Digital, equation and NetConstruct, staff from WMG successfully completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge on Saturday 31 August.

The Three Peaks is both a physical and mental endurance test which takes on the following mountains:

  • Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres)
  • Whernside (736 metres)
  • Ingleborough (723 metres)

On the day of the walk the team were exposed to various elements: wild winds, torrential rain, and glorious sunshine, but this didn’t stop them from completing the whopping 25-mile walk and 5,200 ft of ascent in less than 12 hours!

Having raised over 70% of their target of £2,000, so far, this is a great achievement for all those involved and has made all the blisters and sore legs worthwhile.
