Multi-region targeted Outreach Strategy generates a substantial increase to Domain Authority

A proven market leader, Tickmill hold an enviable position within the Forex industry, offering their expansive range of trading services across the globe. Wanting to increase their authority in this volatile market, WMG were brought onboard to tackle targeted outreach across 12 specific territories, working to increase their domain authority.

What did we do?

Leveraging our international experience, expansive language capabilities, and a level of specialism in the Forex industry not commonly seen for a digital agency, we engineered a targeted outreach strategy to support Tickmill’s ambition of increasing site authority. Initially working across 12 territories – five countries in Europe, three in Latin America and four in MENA – the ability to target in both English and native language was fundamental to success.

Targeting relevant industry publications, we built impressive links across a range of high DA websites with high traffic to improve Tickmill’s authority and link profile. The client was featured across numerous prominent news outlets including in Medium (DA 95) and in Arabian Post (DA 40).

Following our success, in market demand and client demand, we scoped the outreach opportunity across Asia, as well as additional countries in MENA and South Africa. Our market analysis enabled us to understand the competition and opportunity by country, prioritising territories aligned to Tickmill’s commercial strengths and market appetite.

This analysis identified vast opportunities and a high link gap deficit which, subsequently, led to our remit for Tickmill being expanded by an additional 12 countries – nine in Asia, two additional countries in MENA and South Africa.

The Objective

  • Build links across high domain websites

  • Increase domain authority
